2025 KAIDEC Summer Conference
In 2025, Professor Suweon Kim (Principal Investigator), Professor Jeremie Eyssette and Gayoung Park participated in the 2025 KAIDEC Summer Conference on 21 June 2025. The conference is one of the major academic events in the field of international development cooperation in Korea, bringing together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to share research findings and discuss current development issues.
During the conference, the three members of K-AIM Project took part in the session titled “Postcolonial Legacies and Contemporary Development in Africa.” In this session, Prof. Kim served as the session chair and moderator, facilitating the discussion and guiding the overall flow of the session. Prof. Jeremy participated as a presenter and delivered a presentation on issues related to postcolonial development in Africa, contributing to the academic discussion with research findings and policy implications. Prof. Gayoung Park joined the session as a discussant, providing constructive comments and engaging in discussion with the presenter and audience.
Their participation in the KAIDEC Summer Conference contributed to academic exchange on postcolonial perspectives and contemporary development challenges in Africa, and helped strengthen international academic collaboration and research networking in the field of international development cooperation.
